Hey/Hola/Halo!
Whether it’s your first time dropping by my little home on WordPress or you are a regular visitor here, I want you to know that I’m so very glad to have your company.
Anyway, it’s another Saturday (Australian time at least) and another WordPress Photo Challenge, with the theme Shadows, accepted!
I hope you enjoy my photos, for without an audience, a photo is nothing but a play with lights!

I took this photo of a cloudy world with a hundred hues of shades and shadows, through the window of a plane as we flew over.
Turn it upside down, and you may see that I took this photo, looking up at a sky ablaze with the last dying rays of the sun.
I like this photo precisely because of that paradox; because it could have been taken from either below or above the world. I like it because of it, somehow, proves that how we decide to look at something can determine what it looks like to us.

I love taking photos through the window of the plane. I use one as the header of my blog – taken above the clouds on the way to Key West.

Oh yes, I have seen that shot. What a wonderful sight that must have been in person…

Yes, we will be going north of US in March. On our way back south I booked the window ticket, hoping to see the sunset. I’ll see if I could take more sunset photos from the sky. Thank you for liking it!

Thanks for stopping by Stuart! It was in San Gil, Northern Colombia, just before a major lightening storm hit the town.

Fantastic. It gives me inspiration to do sunset shots of my own for my blog. We’re going to get nothing but rain here in Napa pretty soon XD

that’ll change soon enough! Maybe try taking shots of the rain for now? 🙂

I should. It does start raining again tomorrow. I’ve taken some photos for my site already and intend to keep taking more 😀

Thanks for stopping by Brendan! The photo was taken in the evening just before a major thunderstorm hit the town of San Gil in Colombia, but once I turned it upside down it looked it it had been taken from a plane…
